The Church of Saint Triadha is located in the museum area of Mangalem in Berat, on the southern side of the Castle.
It is built by interweaving Byzantine-style tiles with strong rows of stone, as a support for the lower part of the building.
The wall frescoes on the inner sides are damaged due to age. However, traces of biblical themes showing the disciples of Christ, elements of the “Last Supper”, or the days and rituals that precede Easter are still visible on the walls of the church.
As a whole, the upper part of the church is dominated by the reddish color of Byzantine tiles harmonized with white stones.
In its external view, the church draws the arms of the Cross in space and is dominated by the red dome.
Its construction dates back to the end of the 13th century. While it was restored for the last time in 2016, mainly in the part of the roof, which was more damaged than the rest of the building.
