The Department of Foreign Languages, as part of the IETT Institute, with the vision of setting contemporary standards in the teaching of foreign languages ​​professionally, conducted the second professional training for teachers, in English, on the topic: Effective strategies in the use of humor during teaching.

The open lecture, this time broadcast Live on the Zoom platform, marked a considerable number of viewers. The training started with a short presentation of the topic, in order to promote innovative western methods and styles in the field of teaching, for a more positive and effective environment for students and teachers.

The coordinator of the department and at the same time the English teacher, Mrs. Ina Pashollari, designed and organized the training lecture, trying to include valuable, helpful and varied information, touching on sub-topics such as: definition and types of humor, why laughter makes classroom management more effective, instructions for use and integration of humor in the classroom, and concluding with a special question-and-answer session with the audience.

This training aimed to help teachers recognize and understand the fact that humor can stimulate the learning process, increase interest in a particular topic, reduce tension and anxiety in the classroom and improve the student-teacher relationship, promoting a positive learning environment.
