The text is a summary of lessons developed on this subject with students and doctors since 1956. This book on Osteoarticular Tuberculosis was developed after the author’s 60 years of experience as a specialist in this field. The text mainly responds to the program of the fight against T.B.C., after the discussion and consultation of the PKT.
Prof. Dr. Bedri Bylyku started his career as a doctor in 1957. He put the knowledge acquired during his specialization in Russia and Czechoslovakia to the function of Albanian medicine, applying the most difficult surgical interventions. In addition to his duties as the head of the Tuberculosis surgery service, he also led the sanatoriums of Vlora and Saranda from the technical side. He also worked as an external lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine. In 2012, he was decorated by the President of the Republic, Bamir Topi, with the title “Grand Master”. The book “Clinical Tuberculosis” will be a valuable guide not only for doctors and students, but also for all lovers of reading.
This book is an overview of Dr. Bylyk’s life, where readers will find beautifully interspersed lectures on Osteoarticular Tuberculosis, dozens of serious patient cases followed by him, as well as advice for the development of medicine at the primary, secondary and tertiary level. The book comes after a long experience and many years of tireless and dynamic work.
