These wonderful canyons are located along the course of the Erzen River and are only 20 km from Tirana.
The Erzen river has a length of 108 km. It flows through a rocky terrain and over the centuries has created spectacular canyons. The canyons are filled with tubs, cataracts, boulders and straits of all shapes.
Somewhere in the middle of the canyons are three beautiful springs. Two of the springs have water with sulfur minerals. This causes the water to take on a bluish-blue color, while above the springs it is green.
The Erzen River in one of the hollows created reaches up to 10 m deep. There are pits at the place where the waterfalls flow, which during the summer are used for swimming and beachcombing.
The depth of the canyons creates the opportunity to swim in the crystalline water that characterizes it.
