– WORK ANALYSIS OF 2021 AND PLAN IN PERSPECTIVE FOR 2022

The Institute of Education, Heritage and Tourism (IETT), held the next meeting of the Board of Directors, to analyze the activity of 2021 and the perspective plan for 2022.

Present at this meeting were the Chairman of the Board, Prof. Dr. Walter Shtylla; IETT Executive Director, Prof. Ass. Dr. Ramiz Zekaj; board members, Ambassador Kujtim Morina, and Mr. Buron Kaceli; IETT coordinator, Mrs. Anisa Hykaj and the secretary of IETT, Mrs. Resilda Muca.

In his welcome speech, the Chairman of the Board, Prof. Dr. Valter Shtylla, praised the achievements of the Institute during this year and the new collaborations created as a result of them.

In addition, the IETT coordinator made a presentation of activities developed by the Institute during 2021, such as; International conferences, workshops, seminars, various trainings for students and other target groups, internships offered for students, participation in international conferences and seminars, ongoing projects, etc.

She also introduced the opening of IETT Tourism as a separate sector, which will be at the service of tourists, introduced the new IETT website, etc.

IETT Executive Director, Prof. Ass. Dr. Ramiz Zekaj, then opened the discussion on possible structural changes of the Institute, listing some of the objectives of IETT for 2022. The following Board members gave relevant proposals and suggestions, aimed at the progress of projects planned by the administrative staff for the future. as well as proposed and voted the statutory changes that will be reflected in the progress of works during 2022.

One of the points discussed was the addition of a one-member IETT board. The Board voted unanimously. Dr. Nevila Nika, historian and with a long academic career, as part of the ongoing IETT board.

The members of the Board positively evaluated the work of the institute in the realization of the expectations within its objectives for this year, adding a number of suggestions and proposals for the ongoing work of IETT.
