The Institute of Education, Heritage and Tourism, IETT, in collaboration with Interpret Europe, held today the first day of the 5-day training, Interpretive Guides Training, CIG.

The meeting started with the greeting speech from the IETT coordinator, Mrs. Anisa Hykaj, who welcomed the participants and made a short presentation of the lecturer, Valya Stergioti, training coordinator of Interpret Europe, with more than 20 years of professional experience and assistant lecturer Max Dubravko Fijacko, certified Interpretation trainer and coordinator of culinary heritage.

The detailed program and adapted with combined practical and theoretical exercises, was welcomed by all participants.

Part of it, in addition to the theoretical explanation of the key words used by a tour operator, the tools to be used, or information on the roots of a good interpretation of cultural heritage, also provided participants with a variety of challenging exercises, building their confidence and creativity to develop, hold and appreciate excellent interpretive conversations and walks.
